I don’t know what it is about late nights, but something about them makes me want to write again. A lot has been happening lately, but here’s what I want you to know for now.

🚀 Personal Development & Upskilling

This year, I made a promise to take personal growth seriously, and for once, I actually stuck to it lol. I’ve read about 7 books since March, and it’s been refreshing getting lost in new ideas again.

💼 Crossed $20K on Upwork.
This one means a lot. It’s been a journey of building trust, delivering results, and showing up for clients consistently. But more than the number, it’s a reminder that good work really does speak for itself.

📹 1,000+ Subscribers on YouTube.
Guuuuyyyy 😭 this one made me genuinely happy. Even though I’ve been inconsistent (life happens), seeing people connect with my content enough to subscribe means the world. If you haven’t joined the community yet, come through, we’re just getting started.

✍🏽 Started this Blog.
Yep, this one right here. Writing here has been one of the best decisions I’ve made this year. Over 6,000+ readers later, I’ve realized something simple: the world will listen, you just have to speak.

🌍 Networking IRL.
I’ve attended way more tech events this year than ever before. My social battery still runs out fast 😂, but I’m definitely getting better at putting myself out there. I’ll also be at Moonshot by TechCabal on the 15th & 16th of this month, so if you’re around, pull up!

🫶🏽 Community Building & Public Speaking

This year, I’ve spoken at over 3 events, including Build with AI Ilorin, and a few others lined up like DevFest Ilorin and DevFest Ogbomoso. I’m still hoping to speak in Abuja before the year ends. I don’t know how yet, but it’ll happen, somehow, it always does.

On July 1st, I gave away internet MIFIs, tools, and resources to over 50 people online and offline. It was my little way of saying thank you to everyone building in public, for showing up, sharing your journey, and putting your work out there.

A reminder if you need one today:

You’re not invisible.
Your efforts are not wasted.
The internet can be noisy, but someone sees you.

And I mean that, because I’ve been there too. God is good, and I’m grateful for everyone who helped make that giveaway possible. 🙏🏽

This year alone, I’ve helped 200+ people land their first gigs on Upwork, with over 70 earning $1,000+ already. Seeing people win and create income from their skills, even if I never meet them, is honestly one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do.

🎥 Content Creation

This year has also been huge for me as a content creator.
I’ve had the chance to work with some amazing brands through tweets, videos, and user-generated content (UGC).

Some of my favorite collaborations? Cleva Bank and Geegpay by Raenest.
I even got honored with the Cleva People’s Award, a recognition for individuals shaping the freelancing and remote work scene in Nigeria. 🙏🏽

And yeah, I recently upgraded my content creation gear too! 😭
Super pumped about that one.

I honestly can’t wait to fully dive into the travel, tech, and lifestyle content space, I feel like that’s where I belong.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been building quietly, and this time, I feel a new kind of confidence.
